Below please find ordering and other information for libraries and institutions for Circulation Research Online. Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), as publisher of the American Heart Association Journals, welcomes your feedback. We want to hear your suggestions and comments for how we can improve the site, the license, and the ordering process for libraries and institutions.
Circulation Research
12 issues, published monthly, ISSN# 0009-7330
Circulation Research Online offers access to the complete print edition of Circulation Research, including full text and graphics, plus enhanced editorial, immediate access on the date of publication, searchability, and hypertext links to related citations in MedLine.
For the most part, an Institutional Online Subscription authorizes use at a localized site. A "site" is an
organizational unit, and may be academic or corporate. For organizations located in more than one city, each city office is
considered a different site. For organizations within the same city that are administered independently, each office is considered a different site.
For example, each campus in the State University of New York system is considered a different site, and each branch or
office of UpJohn Laboratories is considered a different site.
Individuals who are not part of an institution may subscribe at the Individual (Non-Member) level or may want to consider applying for AHA membership.

Circulation Research Online Policies and Procedures for Institutional Subscriptions
- Circulation Research Online may be accessed by purchasing a site-wide institutional online subscription. Access is by IP address.
- Circulation Research and Circulation Research Online subscriptions are separate and independent. Online subscriptions may or may not show the same start date or the same expiration date. Adjustments due to missed print issues, previous orders or other matters may cause the expiration dates to diverge even when the subscriptions commenced at the same time.
- Circulation Research Online subscriptions allow access over the course of a period of 52 weeks (a one year subscription) to the full text and graphics of all issues published on the Web (full text goes back to January 1995). There is no physical or online archive provided with this subscription. Online subscribers are encouraged to purchase a print subscription for archiving purposes until a standard for online archiving has been established.
- After the order has been processed, the library subscription administrator must activate the online subscription. The librarian will select a user name and password (for administrative purposes only), and list the IP addresses for the institution.
- Please allow up to three weeks for order processing if not ordering directly through Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. More time may be necessary during the peak period from December - February. The librarian will be notified by mail or e-mail when the subscription is ready for activation. Librarians with a print Circulation Research subscription may try to activate at any time after ordering by entering their AHA customer account number as instructed. The activation will be successful only after the order has been processed.
