About OnLine First
All original scientific articles that are accepted in a given week are posted online within 6 to 10 working days, regardless of the print issue in which they are due to appear. Individual and institutional subscribers can log on to
http://circres.ahajournals.org and access proof versions of the Original Contributions, Reports, UltraRapid Communications, and Research Commentaries that were accepted in the previous week. OnLine First allows for a marked reduction in the time from acceptance to appearance in the public domain, from the current mean of 5 to 7 weeks to 1 to 2 weeks. The embargo date for OnLine First articles is 4:00 PM EST on the date of online posting. Editorials, MiniReviews, and Reviews are not included in OnLine First.
