On the cover: Exposure to ambient ultrafine particles enhances aortic atherosclerosis in mice. Electron microscopy photographs of a lipid-laden alveolar macrophage harvested from an apoE–/– mouse exposed to concentrated ambient ultrafine particles (<0.18 μm).
