On the cover: Relationship between infiltrating macrophages and the endothelial adhesion molecule VCAM-1 at the branching point of an intercostal artery from LdrlKO mice fed a high-fat diet. VCAM-1 (green) and the monocyte/macrophage marker MOMA-2 (blue) are visualized by confocal microscopy. Recruitment of MOMA-2+ macrophages in the sub-endothelial space is largely associated with sites of intense VCAM-1 staining. See related article, page 357.
