Effective Frontal Plane Vectorcardiogram of Rana Pipiens
A technic is described which provides highly accurate registration of the effective frontal plane vectorcardiogram of Rana pipiens. A comparative study with one of the conventional vectorcardiographic systems illustrates some of the inherent defects of the latter method. Another potentially useful aspect of effective vectorcardiograms is that they may be calibrated in a manner which presents heart vectors in their physically correct units of dimension.
