Correction

An extract of the first 100% of the full text is provided, because this article has no abstract.

In an article by Lindsey et al (Circ Res.2003;93:238–245), the charts in Figure 1C and 1D were inadvertently transposed in the final version of the manuscript. Also, the collagenase cleavage site in the {alpha}1(I) chains of type I collagen was incorrectly referred to throughout the manuscript as Gly975-Leu976.

The correct position of the cleavage site is Gly775-Ile776.

The authors apologize for these errors.
