In an article by Kashiwagi et al (Circ Res. 2002;91:e55e64), "Nonendothelial Source of Nitric Oxide in Arterioles but not in Venules: Alternative Source Revealed In Vivo by Diaminofluorescein Microfluorography," an error appeared in Figure 6. In panel B, the regression line of the 17 data points is erroneous because it does not describe the correct linear relationship between x (%
DAF-2T) and y (density of adherent leukocytes) based on the least-squares method. In the figure legend, the regression equation, W=(12.3-%
DAF-2T)/0.045, and the square of the sample correlation coefficient, r2=0.533, are incorrect.
