In an article by Moreno et al (Circ Res. 2002;90:450–457), "Role of the Carboxyl Terminal of Connexin43 in Transjunctional Fast Voltage Gating," a collaborator who contributed significantly to the work was not listed in the authorship of the manuscript. In a petition to the journal, the authors stated their omission of Sergio Elenes, Krannert Institute of Cardiology, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Ind, as a coauthor of this work.

The corrected authorship should read: Alonso P. Moreno, Marc Chanson, Sergio Elenes, Justus Anumonwo, Isabelle Scerri, Hong Gu, Steven M. Taffet, and Mario Delmar.
