Retraction

On December 13, 2001, the Editors of Circulation Research retracted a paper that had been accepted for publication and had been posted in Online First (Oyama et al. PPAR Ligand Inhibits Osteopontin Gene Expression Through Interference With Binding of Nuclear Factors to A/T-Rich Sequence in THP-1 Cells. December 6, 2001; 10.1161/hh0202.103229). This paper was retracted because we belatedly discovered that the initial submission had not adhered to the Instructions to Authors, specifically regarding the stipulations about prior publication. Despite the fact that the preprint appeared for several days in Online First, no record of this manuscript will appear either in Medline or PubMed.
