Data Files
- Movie 1. ECG-gated fast gradient-echo MRI cine-loop of a normal murine heart acquired in coronal slice orientation comparable to a five-chamber view. Imaging parameters were TR 4.3 ms, TE 1.5 ms, in-plane pixel size 117x117 μm, slice thickness 1 mm, acquisition window per cine frame 8.6 ms. Images were cropped for display purposes.
normal_longaxis.AVI
- Movie 2. Corresponding cine-loop in a mid-ventricular short-axis orientation showing normal right and left ventricular motion. MR imaging parameters were as in Movie 1.
normal_shortaxis.AVI
- Movie 3. Fast gradient-echo MRI cine-loop of the heart in a mouse 2 weeks after myocardial infarction due to LAD ligation acquired in vertical long-axis orientation, showing a gross apical aneurysm of the LV with marked thinning of the infarcted myocardium. Note preserved myocardial contraction in the basal portion of the left ventricular myocardium. MR imaging parameters were as in Movie 1.
MI_longaxis.AVI
- Movie 4. Corresponding cine-loop in mid-ventricular short-axis orientation. Note the dilatation of the left ventricle with marked dyskinesia of the free LV anterior wall during systole. MR imaging parameters were as in Movie 1.
